Elevation: The Oil blend of Joy & Confidence

This amazing blend is only going to be available for another couple of months as there is a sustainability shortage occurring of Hawaiian Sandalwood oil!  As doTERRA is a very responsible company in regard to fair practice and eco-responsibility – we may have to wait a while for them to re-formulate this amazing. So many of us are stocking up while we can.

This amazing blend combines uplifting and euphoric floral scents with citrusy and woody oils; creating a very unique combination that promotes a positive mood and feelings of confidence.

Aromatic Description  - Floral, sweet, citrus, touch of wood

Uses

  • Diffuse Elevation anytime throughout the day for an uplifting experience. Use 4-8 drops depending on size /type of diffuser.
  • Rub a couple drops into cupped hands and inhale.
  • Rub Elevation essential oil blend over your heart. Dilute if sensitive.
  • Rub 1-2 drops on forehead, temples, behind the ears or over the heart., temples or wrists. Dilute if sensitive. Make a touch roller!
  • After a long, stressful day, add to a bath. Combine with bath oil or handful of Epsom salts and swish through the warm water

Directions for Use

Diffusion: Use four drops  or more in the diffuser of your choice.
Topical use: Apply one to two drops to desired area. Dilute with a carrier oil to minimize any skin sensitivity.

Cautions: Possible skin sensitivity. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. Avoid sunlight and UV rays for at least 12 hours after applying product. The Citrus oils can be photo-sensitising.

  • Lavandin flower - Lavendula hybrida A general tonic, yet acts as a sedative, great through the winter season. Effective to use in situations of anxious and depressed feelings.
  • Tangerine - peel - Citrus Reticulata
  • The Oil of Spontaneity
  • Contains D-limonene, a powerful antioxidant*
  • Supports digestion and bile production. Acts as an Internal cleanser and detoxifier when added to glass water, yoghurt, smoothies etc.
  • * Helps with the Lymphatic system
  • A relaxant so can assist to dispel anxious feelings.

  • Lavender flower - Lavendula angustifolia
  • The Oil of Communication!
  • Universal Oil traditionally used to balance the body and increase relaxation.
  • Calming, yet can enliven some adults and children (dose dependant) as it positively stimulates the nervous system yet can help subdue cerebro-spinal overexcitation.
  • Amyris bark - Amyris balsamifera
  • Also known as West Indian Sandalwood.
  • Contains high levels of sesquiterpenes. May promote calmness and relief from stressful situations and tension. It is suggested that it works with development of the right brain to increase creativity.
  • This oil bears no botanical relationship to the true Sandalwood Santalum botanical species. Amyris grows in the Caribbean Islands and nearby Sth. American Countries.

  • Clary Sage flower - Salvia Sclarea
  • The Oil of Clarity and Vision
  • A tonic, regenerative and revitalising oil, Clary Sage may be excellent for addressing nervous feelings, depressed states, weakness and fear. Assists with clarity and vision. Supports hormone balance.
  • Hawaiian Sandalwood – tree wood Santalum Paniculatum
  • The Oil of Comfort
  • with grounding, calming properties; it is uplifting to depressed feelings. It lessens tension and promotes emotional well being.

  • Ylang Ylang- flowers-Cananga odorata
  •  The Oil of  The Inner Child
  • Great for stress reduction. Calming. A lot of research and proof regarding the success from using this oil to manage blood pressure and heart rate. It can decrease Autonomic Nervous System arousal (ANS). Many people feel more attentive and alert after inhaling this oil.
  • Ho Wood –leaf Cinnamomum camphora linalooliferum  
  • Ravintsara Rosy sweet – slightly woody aroma similar to Rosewood oil- very high linlool 85 -90% Relaxant and great to use in tense situations. Can be restorative in situations of fatigue.

Osmanthus – flower absolute extract Osmanthus fragrans

  • Incredibly fruity, rich, strong, leathery, slightly smoky, sweet, floral and narcotic scent.
  • It takes approximately 3175Kg of Osmanthus flowers to extract just under 40 mls of the oil.
  • One of the 10 Traditional flowers of China.

  • It is used in Traditional Chinese Medicine “to reduce phlegm and reduce blood stasis”.
  • Great to use in times of stress, depressed feelings, mental fatigue and exhaustion.
  • It has antimicrobial, aphrodisiac, detoxifying, expectorant, relaxant and stomachic properties. It is great for sore muscles. Osmanthus is in the Ice Blue and Ice Blue Rub formulas
  • Lemon Myrtle leaf- Backhousia citriodora
  • The Oil of Clarity – cutting through mental fogginess, dulled senses and experience of living on autopilot.
  • High in citral and lesser amounts of   A highly anti – microbial  Australian native oil to use throughout the winter season. Emotionally uplifting and helpful for stuck emotions.  Commonly used as a commercial flavouring.
  • Mark Webb Au B.Sc. states that “ Lemon Myrtle could be used in anti-stress blend -providing mental rejuvenation. He also recommends Lemon Myrtle for improving concentration as well as being relaxing end emotionally uplifting.”
  • This oil is intensely invigorating and its psychological properties could be similar to that of the more expensive Melissa Oil.

  • Melissaleaf - Melissa officinalis
  • The Oil of Light, awakening the Soul to truth and light.
  • A highly regarded anti-viral, Melissa is used in this context as a regulator. It can have calming and uplifting affects according to circumstances. It is brilliant for balancing excess feelings of anxiety and fear conditions. Great research re use of Elevation for calming Dementia agitation. Also used topically for feelings of depression.
